Why does the city have a Report Code Violations page?

Per the city of Cleveland Heights, the city Prosecutor will not file charges, at this time against Jenna
and Jeremiah Johnson, the Sellers and Fidelity National Title. The Owner requested an exemption for the POS inspection ,it
was denied, however, the City Manager waived the POS fee of $200
.@#@#@#@ UNBELIEVABLE!
Also note the Owner is a Person of Color and the Sellers and Listing Agent are Caucasian.
1329.05  REQUIRED USE OF CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTION.
(a)   No person, agent, firm or corporation shall, in a bona fide sale for a good and valid consideration, transfer or convey any interest in a dwelling structure, commercial building structure or
other building, or land upon which such buildings are located, without first providing the purchaser or prospective purchaser with a current certificate of inspection or an exact copy thereof as
provided in this chapter. (b)   The seller shall deposit in escrow a statement signed by the purchaser acknowledging receipt of the certificate of inspection, and such signed statement shall
list thereon the date the certificate was given to the purchaser.
1329.06  ESCROW AGENT OBLIGATIONS.
No person, firm or corporation acting in the capacity of an escrow agent in any real estate transaction involving the bona fide sale or conveyance of any interest in a dwelling structure,
commercial building structure or other building or land upon which such buildings are located in the City, shall file for record an instrument to transfer title thereto or disburse any funds from
such sale unless the provisions of this chapter have been satisfied, including but not limited to the specific provisions of Section 1329.05.

On February 25,2020, Princess received a copy of the Point of Sale and Acknowledgement form, from the city clerk to sign and

return to Cleveland Heights,
11 days after the close of sale on the property.  In hindsight, if Princess would have received

a copy of the Point of Sale, prior to the offer she
NEVER would have made an offer or purchased in Cleveland Heights.

The property has several repairs  that were listed, as completed, that are not completed.  For this reason is why the

Point of Sale is disclosed to potential buyers before making an offer.
